The game begins at the beginning of LP0003. Warrior Rance, accompanied as always by his loyal slave Sill Plein, lives as the leader of a gang of bandits in northern Helman after killing their previous leader as part of a quest given to him by the Keith Guild. While Rance greatly enjoys the rape and pillage that comes with being a gang leader, the guilt-ridden Sill believes that he is in danger of losing what remains of his conscience and truly becoming a villain.
